Hi George
When the wireless connection is active, does it show on the front screen, along
with battery signal etc?

Hi Terry,
If you have Wireless scanning (WLAN) turned on, that will also add to the
batter drain. (At least it sure does with my N95)

Subject: [access-uk] gps on or off?
Hi all
Does anyone know how to tell whether GPS is turned on or off, using the N82.
When I go into gps data, it says its finding satellites, and locks on to them,
but does it automatically disconnect from the gps when you close that
application.
I can't tell whether it is on or off, as my battery seems to be draining
quite quickly.
I have Bluetooth turned off, so it isn't that.
Thanks for any help.
