Hi Douglas,
I can certainly vouch from experience on all our office XP
Pro and Home systems, than it didn't cause us any problems
leaving Spybot on the system, although I have since removed
them from some systems.
As you say, better to stop the intrusion in the first place,
rather than remove it after the damage may have been done.
George.

Subject: [access-uk] Windows Antispyware beta.
I have been reading information about the Windows
Antispyware beta on the Microsoft site, and I am thinking of
giving it a try. The idea of being able to stop things
getting onto my system rather than removing them later
appeals to me.
I currently have both Ad-aware and Spybotsd installed, and
would appreciate advice as to whether I need to uninstall
them before installing the MS program. Or can all three
safely co-exist?
I have no idea how accessible the MS product will be with my
screen reader (Hal).
Comments from Hal/Supernova users would also be appreciated.
Many thanks,
Douglas
