[access-uk] Re: Accessability comments on Pinpoint on-line wanted

I have just had a look at the site, and find that, as Justin says Zoom
Text's App Reader reads the entire page of printed material without any
serious problems. The print on the page is very nicely presented, it is
quite large and shows up very well being blue for the most part on a cream
coloured background.
Quite impressive

Hi Ray,
The website seems fine to me. Very accessible. ZT's appreader doesn't
attempt to respond to the pictures on the page. It'll jump to the text
aligned with the picture when trying to select any picture.
The text is red well on this site. It doesn't look graphics heavy and has
a fairly simple layout. Yep, it is quite accessible for me.

Subject: [access-uk] Accessability comments on Pinpoint on-line wanted
I would like to ask anyone who has the time to take a look at:
http://groups.msn.com/PinpointOnline
and comment on its accessability. there is a graphical image without an
alt-tag near the top of the page, but otherwise it doesn't seem to bad.
The
guy I'm posting on behalf of isn't a website designer/writer in the techy
sense, but would like to keep the facility on-line if its accessable
enough.
I've never heard of Microsoft Communities which this site is hosted by,
so any
comments there too would be interesting. If its simply a simple way for
ordinary folks to put up a site, is there an alternative which is
particularly
hot from the access angle?
Thanks.
Ray
