Hi Terry
I'm interested in your thoughts on MPower from a Braillist's perspective.
What is networking and Bluetooth support like on MPower these days, and is
the Internet Explorer utility any better than on the older BrailleNote
models? Also, does it save documents in true Word format nowadays, because
it certainly never used to despite claims by Humanware that it did. No way!
I'm just interested really as I don't have a following for one or the other
any longer, and wonder how MPower has moved on.
Jackie

Hi.
With the M-Power you can choose whatever braille table you like.
For normal writing I use UK Braille and for situations where I need to use
computer braille, like when entering e-mail addresses etc I have chosen
American Computer Braille.
Thats one of the many reasons why from a braille perspective the product i
feel offers terrific spport for Braille users rather than just bolting
braille access onto speech.

Hi Ian and Ray,
Thanks for these, I just wish Humanware could offer some sort of trade in
or something. About the braille sense, does anyone know what languages it
can support or does it just support English? Also Ian, with the MPower,
do you have to write in computer braille (which I've really not liked at
all!)?
Thanks
Ari
