[3ddesktop-dev] Odd KDE keybinding bugs

I am experiencing some odd behavior with respect to the interation between
KDE's KHotKeys and 3ddesktop. When I run the program (3ddesk) from the
command line, everything works as I would expect. It I create a shortcut
with KHotKeys to execute "3ddesk", the screen zooms out to the carousel view,
but no keyboard input seems to work. After a couple seconds, the random
feature starts spinning the carousel, so I know the program is not hung-- it
just isn't receiving input.

If I use the commands "3ddesk --gotoleft" and "3ddesk --gotoright" as hotkeys,
things are a little better, but still buggy. The desktop will zoom out and
move left or right, but it will then immediately repeat the process (so I can
move 2 desktops left or right, but not just one).

Any ideas why this might be happening?

Thanks,
Carl Waldbieser
