When I used AVG, it had an option to auto-update. I think it did. You can
buy it, which comes with more options. If AVG still has a Pro version
that's free, that is probably the better way to go- you will have more
options that way.
I ended up getting Norton's AV, because I am more comfortable with it. I
was trained using Norton's.
