Sorry, I missed part of this thread.  What OS are you running?  Since 
you have DOS am I correct in assuming it's Windows 95, 98, or ME?

I would look in the autoexec.bat and config.sys files and REM out any 
lines that reference the SCSI driver you installed, then restart.
