Hi Pep,
I frequently use Windows Notepad.
I have a shortcut to it in my task bar and use it often to post reminders to
myself.

Post-it Software Notes also works well
http://www.3m.com/market/office/postit/com_prod/psnotes/#lite

From the bottom of the page;
Not ready to buy, then download the FREE Lite edition so you can experience
Post-it Software Notes on your computer:

Create your own notes with pictures and hyperlinks
Stick notes on your computer desktop as a visual reminder
Add alarms to your notes so you don't forget
Subscribe to receive information on a Post-it=AE Software Note from websites
that provide this service
Attach notes to documents, such as Microsoft Word

Mike ~ It is a good day if I learned something new.

Is there any software that would create a space on the desktop where I
could type in notes to myself and easily delete them when finished with
them? I want the space to be permanant. Moveable is fine, but I don't
want it to change when I restart my computer.
I hope I am making this clear.
Thanks
Peg
