Seen these messages ?  Got irritated ?  Or have you thrown the
floppies ? 

MyFormat is a DOS utility which can do a low-level format, even
on a "TRACK 0 BAD" 1.44MB floppy, and also to make these floppies
DOS bootable. The author advises that it can handle any number of
bad 
sectors on TRACK 0, except a bad BOOT sector. This is a terrific
little utility. Try it on a floppy which Windows refused to look
at, much less re-format, and MyFormat will sort it out without
trouble. Then try it again in Windows and it should now read the
floppy (and, of course, allow you to re-format it). It won't work
on all "dead" floppies but it will give enough of them life again.
