{Tool for easier data entry} Can you repeat that? We've been
looking for simpler ways to translate audio into text. While the
SoundScriber won't take ALL the work out of such a task, it can
be used for the playback of audio files (especially the lengthier
ones). It sports the usual bells and whistles (Play, FF, Rew,
Pause) as well as a variable speed playback option. The smartest
(and possibly most unique) feature is the "walking" option that
lets you transcribe without constant starting and stopping. You
know, it goes a little ways, rewinds a bit, plays back the last
few seconds.
