Utility that informs you about CD drive(s) state with a System
tray icon, and provides easy access to the most frequent CD-ROM
device operations and settings. 
On double-click the agent changes CD door state - opens when
closed and vice versa.
 
If you have more then one CD drive, you may have more then one
instance of the CDswitch agent; the tooltip on each of them will
show the corresponding drive letter. 

Explore CD launches Windows Explorer on the CD inserted into
associated drive. 
Play CD launches your default media player on the multimedia CD
inserted into associated drive. 
Finally, Run Autorun executes disk's Autorun program if found. 
The menu items Explore CD, Play CD, and Run Autorun are available
only when a compact dick inserted in CD drive. 

Check Play audio CD automatically to run CD player when an audio
CD is inserted. Requires a CD-ROM drive which supports autoinsert
notification. (This is a system-wide setting.) 

Check Play data CD automatically to run the program on a data CD
when it is inserted, provided the CD was designed for Windows
auto-play. Requires a CD-ROM drive which supports autoinsert
notification. (This is a per-user setting.) 

Checking Alert on Shut Down provides the facility to intercept
the shutdown request when a CD remained in the CD drive. You
receive the Confirmation Dialog that allows to take the CD out
before continuing the shutdown procedure.
