Wage Revision Talks in Progress ? Award Employees

The Final settlement likely to be signed on June 2, 2005

Mumbai, May 28 :  The discussion with workmen associations and IBA is going on for last two days at Mumbai. Representatives of NCBE, AIBEA, BEFI, and INBEF and NOBW meet with IBA negotiating team on 27^th and 28^th May to finalise the agreement on wage settlement in banking industry. As per the informed source, the draft agreement is yet to be finalised.

 

It was learnt that the Sub-Committee of IBA will meet at Mumbai on Monday (30^th May). On 31^st May (Tuesday) another round of talks will be held between Unions and IBA and the draft agreement for Award Staff Employees is expected to be finalised on 31^st May.   In that event, the Final Settlement/Agreement for Workmen Employees will be signed on June 2, 2005. The final agreement with officers associations is also scheduled to be signed on June 2, 2005.
