I'm writing to let you all know that I resigned last week. Through a lot of
prayer and discussion with people close to me it became clear that I should
return back to Santa Cruz City Fire. I was given the opportunity to return to
my old position and pay rate immediately. The decision to leave was one of the
hardest decisions I've had to make in my life and one that is best for my
family. Coming to San Jose was a great experience and most importantly enabled
me to meet you all. You guys rule and I look forward to staying in touch and
making a few breakfasts. Thanks to all of you for your support and stay safe.
